Answers to common questions about Cotrii.

What is Cotrii?
Cotrii is a new social platform where you can post everything from short notes to long-form articles and paid content. Follow creators you love, enjoy their work, and — if you write yourself — monetize through paid posts, memberships, and reader support.
How do I create an account?
Click "Sign up" on the home page and enter your email address, username, and password. After registering, you'll receive a confirmation email — click the link inside to activate your account.
What do I do if I forget my password?
Click "Forgot password?" on the login page, enter your registered email address, and we'll send you a reset link. The link is valid for 1 hour.
Where can I edit my profile?
Go to Settings → Profile to update your display name, bio, location, and website. You can also change your avatar photo from the same tab.
Can anyone see my posts?
Public posts are visible to anyone who visits Cotrii. The paid portion of a paid article is only accessible to readers who have purchased it or hold the required membership.
How do I delete a post?
Open the "…" menu on your post and select Delete. Note that posts already purchased by readers or accessed by paying members cannot be deleted.
What are Letters (newsletters)?
Letters is Cotrii's newsletter feature. You can write an article and deliver it directly to your followers' email inboxes. Letters are created and sent from the Letters Dashboard and require the Creator plan.
How do I follow someone?
Click the "Follow" button on a user's profile page to follow them. Their new posts will then appear in your home feed.
How do I block another user?
Open the "…" menu on the user's profile page and select "Block." Once blocked, that user will no longer be able to see your profile or posts.
Is Cotrii free to use?
Core features are free. Replies, reposts, and bookmarks require the Basic plan (¥330/month). Publishing paid articles, accepting reader support, and sending newsletters require the Creator plan (¥880/month). See the pricing page for full details.
How do I report inappropriate content or a Terms of Service violation?
Use the "Report" option in the "…" menu on any post, or email hello@cotrii.com with the URL of the content and the reason for your report. We handle spam, harassment, hate speech, copyright infringement, and other violations and will review and act promptly.
What should I do if I find content that infringes my copyright?
If you are the rights holder or their authorized representative, please email hello@cotrii.com with the URL of the infringing content and details of the rights being violated. We will review the matter and take appropriate action (including content removal) in accordance with applicable law. Including evidence of your rights — such as a link to the original work or registration details — will help us respond more quickly.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. Go to Settings → Account and select "Delete account." You will be signed out immediately and will no longer be able to log in. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
